Melissa Ander
Melissa’s 20 years of working with children, youth, and families is founded on the belief that most aspects of our development are impacted and shaped by our relationships. Her therapeutic work as the Clinical Director and Family Development Specialist at the North Shore Centre for Attachment integrates the importance of relationships into her treatment by taking a systems approach. She understands that to treat mental health symptoms, behavioural issues, and interpersonal conflict most effectively, it is essential to integrate all aspects of relationships into treatment – communication, interactional styles, and love.
Through reparative therapy, crisis intervention, and prevention, Melissa is committed to following her clients and their families into greater health through identifying barriers and modelling attachment principles in action for true, lasting change.
Our pain makes sense, when you know what to look for, and when you understand our innate and collective human needs.
